
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 29) — Palawan, the largest province in the country known for its white sand beaches, was named as the “most preferred” tourist destination for Filipinos, a survey released by Publicus Asia showed.
According to the results of the Pahayag 2023 Second Quarter survey released on Thursday, 23% of the respondents expressed their desire to visit the province.

Baguio City, dubbed the \"Summer Capital of the Philippines,\" secured the second position with 16%. It was followed by Cebu and Siargao (9%), and Boracay (8%).
Bohol and Davao, meanwhile, landed at the bottom of the list with 4% and 3%, respectively.
According to Publicus Asia, the recent survey showed diverse preferences and interests of Filipinos when it comes to travel destinations.
