Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 4) — Binibining Pilipinas International 2022 Nicole Borromeo is ready to showcase the “artistry of being a Filipino” as she represents the country in the international pageant this October.
The country’s Miss International 2023 representative said she hopes to feature herself and her diverse experiences in being a Filipino on the stage.
“In terms of style, I’m bringing Nicole Borromeo on stage. I’m hoping to showcase who I am, my experiences, and the artistry of being a Filipino. It’s more diverse than you think, it’s experiences-built,” Borromeo told CNN Philippines’ The Final Word.
The 22-year-old stunner from Cebu shared that preparations for the pageant are now in full swing, and she is confident in the team supporting her.
“To be honest with you, I’m just going to be putting my best foot forward throughout the whole journey. I don’t want to be pressuring myself too much through this but I’m really, really confident in my team,” Borromeo said.
Borromeo also thanked her fans for their overwhelming support.
“It gives me strength and I’m going to make you guys really proud. Or at least, I hope to,” she said.
The Miss International 2023 pageant will again take place in Japan on Oct. 26, the pageant organization announced.
