
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 4) — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will suspend its Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) payout during the Holy Week.
According to the agency, acceptance of requests for processing will be suspended beginning Wednesday, April 5, at 12 p.m. until Monday, April 10.
“Nais namang ipahayag ng DSWD ang pakikiisa sa pag-obserba ng publiko sa Mahal na Araw at pagdiriwang ng bansa ng Araw ng Kagitingan,” it said.

The department also assured that it will remain alert and prepared to offer assistance to individuals who may be affected by unexpected incidents and disasters during the Holy Week.
