Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 21) — Moonbin of K-pop boy band Astro was found dead in his home, Korean entertainment news outlet Soompi announced Thursday morning.
According to the report citing South Korean police, the 25-year-old singer was found dead by his manager in his home in Seoul’s Gangnam district past 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The report said authorities are currently discussing the possibility of an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Entertainment company Fantagio released a statement on the young pop-star’ s death, asking fans to refrain from spreading and believing “speculative or malicious reports.”
