Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 24) — CNN Philippines remains among the most trusted news channels in the country, a survey released Thursday by Publicus Asia showed.
According to the results of the Pahayag 2023 First Quarter survey, CNN Philippines recorded a 43% total high trust rating.
This is two points lower than the 45% total high trust rating it received during the last quarter of 2022 where the media organ topped the list.
Twenty-five media outlets, including television networks, radio stations, online and print news, were listed in the non-commissioned survey conducted from March 2 to 6.
At the top of the list is news outlet GMA-7 which obtained 48%, six points higher than its 2022 fourth quarter ranking.
CNN Philippines is followed by the Philippine Daily Inquirer (38%), Manila Bulletin (36%), and ABS-CBN News Online (36%).
