Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 17) — An Eraserheads-signed guitar was sold for a whopping ₱1.3 million following an auction for the treatment of Parokya ni Edgar’s guitarist Gab Chee Kee, who is battling lymphoma.
The OPM band on Wednesday said the signed guitar was claimed by Bryan Beran, a music festival producer.
“He claimed the guitar earlier this morning and directly paid his winning bid of ₱1,300,000.00 to the hospital’s accounting office. He and his team [were] also able to visit Gab in the ICU,” the band said in a Facebook post.
