
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 4) — The Philippines’ bet Michelle Dee is currently leading the Miss Universe 2023’s “Voice for Change” category with over 150,000 votes so far.
\”Salamat, Pilipinas! Thank you to all the supporters, pageant fans, bloggers, FB groups, queens, talents, influencers, and general public who have been continuously helping,\” the Miss Universe Philippines organization said in its social media posts on Friday.
\”Through Bayanihan, we have achieved the top spot for Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Marquez Dee in the Voice for Change category,\” it added.

\”Individuals in the autism spectrum possess a unique skillset making them valuable assets in various roles from technology and data analysis to creative fields as well,\” said Dee in her campaign video. \”And by championing diversity, they can lead by example to promote a diverse and sustainable work force.\”
Aside from the online voting, a selection committee will also determine the top three winners of the \”Voice for Change\” category.
Among the members of the selection committee are Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza of Mexico, Miss Universe 2019 Top 5 finalist Paweensuda Drouin of Thailand, Miss Universe 2022 Top 5 finalist Gabriela Dos Santos of Curacao, and Miss Universe 2020 2nd runner-up Janick Maceta del Castillo of Peru.
The winners will be announced during the coronation night on Nov. 19 (Philippine time).
