Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 24) — Filipino middle blocker Celine Domingo will bring her talents to the Land of Smiles as she signed with the Nakhon Ratchasima VC in Women’s Volleyball Thailand League.
“As I take on greater heights, I will always remember the stepping stones that Philippine Volleyball, most especially Creamline and Rebisco, have allowed me to step on,” said Domingo in a statement Monday.
“Dreams would have just been dreams if it weren’t because of them,” she added.
Domingo won six championships in the Premier Volleyball League with the Creamline Cool Smashers. She said said she is hoping to come back stronger in the local scene after her international stint.
“Thailand has always been one of the famous volleyball countries and to be part of Nakhon Ratchasima, I know I’ll grow more and be able to give back to Philippine volleyball when I get back as a more mature and better player,” she said.
