Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 19) — Immigration authorities intercepted a 49-year-old Israeli on Wednesday after they found out he has a standing arrest warrant for the past two years, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said in a statement on Thursday.
The agency said Amir Tesler was seeking to extend his visa on Oct. 18 at its head office in Manila.
But authorities verified that he was charged for violence against women and children. The Regional Trial Court, National Capital Region Branch 109 in Pasay City issued the warrant in September 2021, the BI said.
