Popeye Run arrives in the Philippines with first official licensed event

Metro Manila, Philippines – The iconic sailor is coming to life as Popeye Run lands in the Philippines for its first official licensed run.

Organized by Empower PH, the event combines fitness, fun, and nostalgia, featuring 1K, 3K, 5K, and 10K categories open to all ages and fitness levels.

The Manila leg is on May 9 at the CCP Complex, Pasay City, promising a lively race-day experience with themed elements and engaging activities for participants.

“Popeye Run is more than just a race. It’s a celebration of strength, resilience, and fun for everyone,” said Abdelrahman Rabie Elfeky, CEO and founder of EmpowerMGT Events Management Services.

Participants can expect exclusive race kits inspired by the world of Popeye.
