Metro Manila, Philippines — Motorists have to shell out big-time for fuel this week, oil companies announced Monday, Nov. 11.
In separate advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, and Seaoil said they will implement an increase in per-liter prices of diesel by P2.10 and gasoline by P1.50 beginning Tuesday.
Caltex and Seaoil said they will sell kerosene for P1.20 more per liter.
The Energy Department earlier said world oil trading has factored in the impact of a storm that is expected to cut US output in the Gulf of Mexico, the move of OPEC+ members to delay plans to raise output in December, and the US Federal Reserve plan to cut interest rates again.
