Metro Manila, Philippines – Kira Ellis, Kim Mangrobang, and Raven Faith Alcoseba bagged the gold medal for the Philippines in the women’s triathlon team relay on Wednesday, Dec. 17, in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand.
The Filipino trio finished with a time of 1:10:14, over 30 seconds ahead of Indonesia, while Singapore settled for bronze.
Ellis and Alcoseba earlier nabbed silver in the aquathlon mixed team relay, while Mangrobang and Ellis settled for silver in the aquathlon women’s team relay.
The Philippines now has 30 gold medals in the ongoing multi-sport event.
