
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 30) — Local government units in several areas announced class suspensions for July 31 following news that another storm entered the country on Sunday.
As of posting, classes for July 31 in the following areas have been suspended:

Ilocos Sur
Pre-school to Secondary:
Atok, Benguet
Bakun, Benguet
Buguias, Benguet
Kabayan, Benguet
Kapangan, Benguet
Kibungan, Benguet
La Trinidad, Benguet
Mankayan, Benguet
Tublay, Benguet
All Levels:
Valenzuela City Mayor Rex Gatchalian said only classes in the following schools were suspended on Monday due to flooding:

In its 4 a.m. report, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), said Tropical Storm Huaning (international name: Haitang) was located 525 km north northwest of Basco, Batanes and is expected to leave the Philippine area of responsibility on Monday and to make its way to southern China.
According to the weather bureau, all tropical cyclone warnings in the country have been lifted.
