The directive comes from Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana who also heads the National Task Force against Covid-19.
The troops will help the police enforce lockdown protocols.
The Armed Forces has also confirmed issuing an order to gear up for the implementation of a martial law-type coronavirus lockdown here in Luzon.
