
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 10) — A fifth Filipino in Hong Kong tested positive for coronavirus disease, officially known as COVID-19, the Department of Foreign Affairs announced Tuesday.
Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary Brigido Dulay said the Filipino worker is asymptomatic and is now confined at a quarantine facility in the Chinese region.
The first Filipino to test positive for the new virus in Hong Kong has recovered and has been discharged from the hospital.
COVID-19, which was first reported in Wuhan, China, has infected more than 115,000 worldwide and killed more than 4,000.
