Lawmakers move to keep ABS-CBN on-air

Lawmakers finding ways to keep ABS-CBN on-air in case its franchise lapses without a new one in place. At the Senate, a joint resolution to extend the network’s franchise from May until 2022 pending its application while congressmen points to 1994 deal between the House and the National Telecommunications Commission on broadcast companies with pending franchises.
