At 9:47 a.m., the two-hour-long blaze in Silverio Street, Purok 5 in Barangay San Isidro reached fifth alarm, Ground Commander Supt. Jose Callos Jr, said.
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 18) – A fire razed a residential area in Parañaque City, destroying around 50 houses and affecting 110 families, the Paranaque City Central Fire Station said Tuesday.
The fire needed 21 fire trucks to be put out, Callos said.
A total of 110 families were displaced by the fire that left approximately P1 million in damages.
The blaze was believed to have started at the ground floor of a two-storey shanty owned by a certain Ronald Edroso.
