Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 17) — A security guard died while another was injured when a fire hit a factory in Barangay Paso de Blas in Valenzuela City early Tuesday morning.
The fire broke out at 4:41 a.m. at Stronghand Inc. and reached the third alarm of a 10-level system, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection. The third alarm means 12 trucks are needed to extinguish the fire.
The blaze was put out at 6:23 a.m.
Authorities are looking into what caused the industrial fire.
