Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 20) — Five people died and three others were injured in a house fire at a Quezon City subdivision early Saturday, the Bureau of Fire Protection said.
The fire at Corinthian Gardens, an exclusive village, put out at 5:25 a.m. caused damage worth P60 million, the BFP said in its spot report. The blaze was reported past 1 a.m., with 32 fire trucks responding to the incident.
Authorities said the fire began on the second floor, but they are still determining the cause.
