Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 26) – President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed testing czar Vince Dizon as Presidential Adviser for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Response.
On Friday, Radio Television Malacañang posted a short video of Dizon’s oath-taking with the President at the Palace on Nov. 23.
Dizon also serves as the Deputy Chief Implementer of the National Task Force against COVID-19.
Formerly, he was president and CEO of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).
After his resignation from the BCDA last month, reports said Dizon joined the 2022 presidential campaign team of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno. Dizon has denied this.
