Red Cross pilots saliva RT-PCR test

The Philippine Red Cross pilots the saliva-based RT-PCR tests to detect Covid-19.

The group wants the new method be used instead of nasal and throat swab tests.

It says, these tests are cheaper and already proven effective overseas.
