According to the forecast, companies are likely to reduce per-liter prices of diesel by ₱1.20 to ₱1.40 and of gasoline by ₱0.40 to ₱0.50.
Early this week, companies also cut the per-liter prices of gasoline by ₱2.60, diesel by ₱1.60, and kerosene by ₱1.55.
The Department of Energy said net price increases since the start of the year for gasoline, diesel and kerosene stood at ₱19.55, ₱37.80 and ₱33.20 per liter, respectively, as of Aug. 30.
