Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 15) — The Inter-Agency Task Force has approved to keep the National Capital Region under Alert Level 1 status from May 16 to 31, the Palace announced on Sunday.
A number of provinces, highly-urbanized cities, and municipalities will also be under the lowest alert level during the same period.
Alert Level 1:
– Cordillera Region: Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Baguio City and Kiangan town in Ifugao.
– Region I: Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, and Dagupan City
– Region II: Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, and City of Santiago
– Region III: Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales, Angeles City, and Olongapo City
– Region IV-A: Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, and Lucena City
– Region IV-B: Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, and Puerto Princesa City
– Region V: Albay, Catanduanes, Naga City and Balud town in Masbate
– Region VI: Aklan, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, Bacolod City, and Iloilo City
– Region VII: Siquijor, Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and Calape, Garcia Hernandez, San San Miguel towns in Bohol; Alcoy, Borbon, Oslob, Pilar, Santander, Tudela towns in Cebu; Bacong, Dauin, Valencia (Luzarriaga), and Zamboanguita towns in Negros Oriental.
– Region VIII: Biliran, Eastern Samar, Southern Leyte, Ormoc City, Tacloban City, Tarangnan, and Zumarraga towns in Samar.
– Region IX: Zamboanga City, Mahayag town in Zamboanga del Sur; and Diplahan town in Zamboanga Sibugay
– Region X: Bukidnon, Camiguin, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental, Cagayan de Oro City, and Iligan City
– Region XI: Davao City
– Region XII: Kalamansig town in Sultan Kudarat
– Caraga: Surigao del Sur and Butuan City.
– Bangsamoro: Upi town in Maguindanao.
The following areas will also be under Alert Level 2:
– Cordillera Region: Benguet, Ifugao
– Region IV-A: Quezon Province
– Region IV-B: Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan
– Region V: Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Masbate, and Sorsogon
– Region VI: Antique and Negros Occidental
– Region VII: Bohol, Cebu Province, and Negros Oriental
– Region VIII: Leyte, Northern Samar, and Western Samar
– Region IX: City of Isabela, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga del Norte, and Zamboanga Sibugay
– Region X: Lanao del Norte; Region XI: Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Davao Oriental, Davao de Oro, and Davao Occidental
– Region XII: General Santos City, North Cotabato, Sarangani, Sultan Kudarat, and South Cotabato
– Caraga: Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte
– Bangsamoro Region: Basilan, Cotabato City, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.
