Those who haven’t registered yet can make a request 48 hours after their full vaccination.
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 7) — The Department of Health on Monday said all individuals who have previously generated their digital COVID-19 vaccine certificates through VaxCertPH should request for a new version.
It said the QR codes obtained before Feb. 7 will be unreadable and deemed outdated after VaxCertPH was updated with new features.
DOH advised individuals to regenerate the code via vaxcert.doh.gov.ph or go to the city of hall of where they got vaccinated.
VaxCertPH includes the holder’s personal data, brand and lot number of the vaccines, and the place and date when the doses were administered. It also contains a QR code that will be used to match data in the Vaccination Information Management System — a central database serving all local government units.
It could serve as digital proof of vaccination for those traveling abroad.
