Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 4) — Former senator JV Ejercito revealed he tested positive for COVID-19.
In a tweet on Monday, he wished Navotas City Mayor Toby Tiangco a quick recovery from COVID-19 and bared he also tested positive.
“Sabay pa tayong nag positive! Bilis kumalat nitong Omicron pero buti na lang mild lang siya! Ingat lang lahat!” Ejercito said.
[Translation: We tested positive at the same time! Omicron is spreading fast but good thing it is only mild! Take care everyone!]
According to reports, he tested positive last Friday and stopped experiencing mild symptoms after two days.
Ejercito is eyeing a Senate comeback in the 2022 elections after failing to secure a seat in the 2019 polls.
