The 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution has been tagged as the movement that restored the country’s democracy, and ushered in political, social, and economic reforms.
Filipinos had stormed the streets and forced the ouster of the president’s father, the late dictator Ferdinand E. Marcos, who fled with his family to Hawaii in exile.
