Metro Manila, Philippines – Motorists will benefit from a hefty cut in pump prices on Tuesday, Sept. 29, after three consecutive weeks of upward adjustments.
The Department of Energy announced Monday, Sept. 28, the following downward price movements per liter from Sept. 29 to Oct. 5:
- Gasoline: ₱0.24
- Diesel: ₱7.57
- Kerosene: ₱5.85
“Ang mga pagbabagong ito ay nakabatay sa galaw ng pandaigdigang merkado ng langis, sa gitna ng patuloy na kaganapan sa Middle East na nakakaapekto sa global supply at presyo,” the DOE said.
[Translation: These adjustments are based on changes in the global oil market amid the continuing situation in the Middle East that affects the global supply and prices.]
Meanwhile, price cuts by oil companies are as follows:
Petron
- Gasoline: ₱0.30/liter
- Diesel: ₱P7.60/liter
- Kerosene: ₱5.90/liter
Shell
- Gasoline: ₱0.30/liter
- Diesel: ₱P7.60/liter
- Kerosene: ₱5.90/liter
Seaoil
- Gasoline: ₱0.24/liter
- Diesel: ₱7.57/liter
- Kerosene: ₱5.85/liter
Jetti
- Gasoline: ₱0.30/liter
- Diesel: ₱7.60/liter
Unioil
- Gasoline: ₱0.30/liter
- Diesel: ₱P7.60/liter
PetroGazz
- Gasoline: ₱0.24/liter
- Diesel: ₱7.57/liter
Other oil companies have yet to announce price movements.
