12,017 Bar examinees return for day 2 amid rains

Metro Manila, Philippines – Braving the rains, almost all examinees who showed up on the first day returned for Day 2 of the 2026 Bar Examinations on Wednesday, Sept 9.

A total of 12,017 of the 12,029 examinees (99.9%) lined up early at testing centers in Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

Day 2 covers Civil Law and Land Titles and Deeds, with a 20 percent weight, followed by Labor Law and Social Legislation, 10 percent weight.

The 2026 Bar Examinations go for three days. The last day is on Sunday, Sept. 13, covering Criminal Law in the morning and Remedial Law, Legal and Judicial Ethics, with Practical Exercises in the afternoon.
