Metro Manila, Philippines – Government employees will receive the fourth and final tranche of the salary adjustment under Executive Order 64, s. 2024, beginning Jan. 1, 2027.
The updated schedule covers Salary Grades 1 to 33, with corresponding rates across Steps 1 to 8.
Salary Grade 1 is ₱15,208 per month, while Salary Grade 33 is ₱459,469 per month under Step 1.
The adjustment generally covers civilian government personnel in the executive, legislative and judicial branches, constitutional commissions and other covered government offices, as well as eligible government-owned or controlled corporations and local government units.
At the local government level, the adjustment will depend on financial capacity and applicable rules.
Workers under job orders, contracts of service, consultancy arrangements and similar contracts without an employer-employee relationship are not covered by the salary schedule.
EO 64 was signed in August 2024 and implemented in four annual tranches.
