Metro Manila, Philippines – Joshua Garcia and Ivana Alawi take center stage in Love Is Never Gone, a new Filipino romance drama set for global release on Prime Video on May 8.
The two stars led the blue carpet premiere in Quezon City ahead of the series’ debut in more than 240 countries and territories.
Produced by ABS-CBN Studios, the series marks one of the latest Filipino originals to reach a global audience through streaming.
Garcia plays Teo, a man determined to build a better life, while Alawi portrays Yana, a mysterious woman driven by desperation. Their characters’ lives intersect in a story that explores love, betrayal, and survival across different timelines and locations, including Morocco and the Philippines.
The premiere included a screening of the first episode, offering an early look at the series’ blend of romance and suspense.
“For us, this story goes beyond romance. It’s about the choices people make when they are pushed to their limits,” said Dreamscape Creative Manager Ayi Tamayo.
The cast and creators later faced the media to discuss the project and its themes, as anticipation builds for its international release.
