He-Man returns to big screen in ‘Masters of the Universe’

Metro Manila, Philippines – Masters of the Universe is set to bring the iconic hero back to cinemas, with a new live-action film arriving in the Philippines on June 3.

The story follows Prince Adam, played by Nicholas Galitzine, who has lived on Earth for 15 years away from his home and powers. After being led back to Eternia by the Sword of Power, he must reclaim his identity as He-Man and confront the rule of Skeletor.

The film also stars Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms, and Jared Leto as Skeletor, along with Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin and others.

Directed by Travis Knight, the movie reimagines the classic franchise as an epic adventure, with Adam joining forces with his allies to save Eternia from destruction.
