Metro Manila, Philippines — Filipino cue artist Rubilen Amit further cemented her status as one of the greatest after bagging the 2024 WPA Women’s World 9-Ball Championship title on Sunday in New Zealand.
The 42-year-old Mandaue City native defeated Siming Chen of China, 3-1, in the best-of-five finals.
This is Amit’s third world crown, previously capturing the world 10-ball championship in 2009 and 2013.
