Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 25) — As Catholics flock to churches this Christmas Day, they are also reminded of the value of sharing one’s blessings with those in need.
At the Manila Cathedral, a number of Filipinos came in early to hear the 8 a.m. mass. They said this was also their time to express their gratitude for all the blessings they received in the past year.
Many also started their day by attending the mass at Quiapo Church as early as 5 a.m.
Others spent time with family and friends at the Rizal Park.
