Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 7) — The Philippines was honored at the World Travel Awards 2023, winning in the categories of leading city, beach, and dive destination.
The country also garnered the Global Tourism Resilience Award for demonstrating “global leadership, pioneering vision, and innovation to overcome critical challenges and adversity.”
The City of Dreams was also named World’s Leading Fully Integrated Resort 2023 and World’s Leading Casino Resort 2023 at the ceremony which was held in Dubai.
Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco celebrated the wins, saying it is a testament to travelers’ appreciation for the country and of the Philippines’ \”position as an unparalleled destination.\”
