Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 24) — Michelle Dee on Thursday responded to Miss Universe El Salvador’s apology over the graphics mix-up in the announcement of the Top 5 candidates during the pageant’s coronation night on Sunday (Philippine time).
\”There should be no room for error but the reality is that we live in an imperfect world,\” Dee shared on her broadcast channel on Instagram.
“Everything happens for a reason and it’s just a matter of seeing it as a lesson or a blessing,” she added.
Dee also reminded the public to “always act with love, kindness, and respect.”
The now deleted viral post included Dee in the Top 5 instead of Thailand’s Anntonia Porsild, who won first runner-up.
Four days after the incident, Miss Universe El Salvador issued an apology to both candidates.
\”We’re sorry to both finalists… This was a simple error of moving too fast,\” it said. \”We heard the same results live at the same time that you all did, no special access over here.\”
