Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 24) — Rising setter Joshua Retamar is aiming to bag all the championships in his collegiate career as he committed to play one last time for the National University (NU) Bulldogs in the UAAP men’s volleyball tournament.

“Returning to the Bulldogs is my way of giving back and expressing gratitude,” he said in a statement on Friday. “When the coaches approached me, there was no hesitation; my heart is set on helping the team achieve more success.”

The NU Bulldogs are on the hunt for their fourth straight UAAP championship come Season 86 next year.

Retamar led the Sampaloc-based squad to a 16-game sweep in Season 85 in May, where he was also named as Best Setter and Finals Most Valuable Player.

\”I’m thrilled to lead this talented group of players and take on the challenges posed by the strengthened lineups of our competitors,” the 23-year-old playmaker said.
