
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 24) — Former Philippine National Police chief Camilo Cascolan died on Friday afternoon, his son confirmed.
According to his son Jiro, the retired government official died at 5:28 p.m. “surrounded by his loving family.”
The family did not provide information on the cause of death.
“My dad dedicated his life to serving and protecting our country as a man of service for 42 years,” Jiro said in a Facebook post.
\”We will forever remember his unwavering dedication to his duty, his selflessness, and his love for his family,” he also said.
