“New CALAX exit to Tagaytay opens on Nov. 8 \n”

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 7) — The Cavite-Laguna Expressway’s (CALAX) Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange, which offers a faster route to Silang and Tagaytay City, will open at 12 a.m. on Wednesday, November 8.

According to CALAX’s concessionaire MPCALA Holdings Inc. (MHI), the 3.9-kilometer exit will be free of charge until further notice.

\”Motorists will only be charged up to the Silang East Interchange toll fee, marking a customer-centric approach to travel on CALAX,\” said MHI in a statement Tuesday.

The new CALAX subsection is expected to cater to an additional 5,000 daily motorists.

In total, the CALAX has eight interchanges: Technopark, Laguna Boulevard, Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road, Silang East, Silang (Aguinaldo), Governor’s Drive, Open Canal, and Kawit Interchange.
