
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 6) – Fuel companies are set to lower prices of petroleum products beginning Tuesday.
In separate advisories on Monday, Seaoil, Flying V, Uniol and Petro Gazz said diesel prices will decrease by ₱1.10 per liter while gasoline will cost 45 centavos less per liter.
PTT, Caltex, Cleanfue, Jetti, and Phoenix also said they will implement the same oil price adjustments.
The per-liter prices for kerosene will go down by ₱1.05, Seaoil said.
Cleanfuel and Caltex’s adjustments will be implemented at 12:01 a.m. while the markdown of Seaoil and Petro Gazz will take effect at 6 a.m.
Other oil companies are expected to make their announcements early in the week.
Data from the Department of Energy as of Oct. 31 showed the oil price adjustments have resulted in a year-to-date increase of ₱14.20 per liter for gasoline, ₱10.45 per liter for diesel, and ₱5.04 per liter for kerosene.
