Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 6) — Filipino talent Sophia Laforteza earned the top spot in the third and final mission of HYBE Labels and Geffen Records’ talent competition “The Debut: Dream Academy,” securing her place in the show’s finale next week.
The third mission focused on demonstrating the contestants’ artistry through different musical concepts.
In the episode that aired online on Sunday, Ua (Japan), Nayoung (South Korea), and Celeste (Argentina) were eliminated.
Competing in the live finals on Nov. 18 are Sophia, Lara (USA), Ezrela (Australia), Daniela (USA), Emily (USA), Samara (Brazil), Manon (Switzerland), Marquise (Thailand), Megan (USA), Yoonchae (South Korea).
The name of the new global girl group and final members who will debut will be revealed after the finale.
