Several Filipino celebrities joined millions of \”Friends\” fans across the world in paying tribute to Matthew Perry, who portrayed the affable and sarcastic Chandler Bing in the acclaimed sitcom.
Perry died on Sunday at age 54 after an apparent drowning accident at his Los Angeles home, according to CNN International, citing Los Angeles Times and local law enforcement sources.
Actress and TV personality Maine Mendoza took to Twitter to share she was saddened by the news of Perry’s death.
“What a sad news to wake up to…. Rest easy, Matthew. Watching Friends will never be the same,” Mendoza said, retweeting a post from E! News.
