
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 26) — Bank customers need to plan their transactions as the country observes local polls and the Undas break next week.
Oct. 30, Monday, has been declared a special non-working day to make way for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections. All Saints’ Day on Nov. 1 and All Souls’ Day on Nov. 2 which fall on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, were declared holidays to allow Filipinos to remember their beloved departed.
Here’s a list of bank operations to be considered during those dates. This will be updated as more advisories come in.
Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
All BPI branches will be closed on Oct. 30, Nov. 1, and Nov. 2, but customers can use the bank’s app, online services, ATMs, and cash-accept machines, as well as BPI credit, debit, and prepaid cards for cashless/online and in-store purchases during those dates.
