Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 19) — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Thursday confirmed another Filipino fatality in the Israel-Hamas war, bringing the death toll in the escalating conflict to four.
“I regret to inform the nation that we have received confirmation from the Israeli government of another Filipino casualty in Israel,” DFA Secretary Enrique Manalo said on X (formerly Twitter).
Manalo said details about the deceased would not be provided as requested by the family. He added that the government has assured the bereaved full support and assistance.
