Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 9) – The Philippines has begun exporting fresh mangoes again to Australia after almost a decade, recently sending 1,500 kilograms of carabao mangoes, the Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Plant Industry (DA-BPI) said on Friday.
“Since 2013 pa po kasi ang last natin na export ng mango, so this will be a big step towards the mango industry natin considering na kailangang kailangan po natin talagang i-promote ang ganitong mga produkto sa labas ng ating bansa,” DA-BPI Assistant Director Herminigilda Gabertan said in a statement.
