Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 29) — Susan Ople, the beloved chief of the Department of Migrant Workers, has been laid to rest.
Family members, officials of the DMW, and groups representing overseas Filipino workers (OFW) whom she worked with were present at the final service on Tuesday.
A requiem mass was led by Fr. Jerry Orbos at the lobby of the DMW building in Mandaluyong City, where several OFWs shared their thoughts on Ople’s passing.
