Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 17) — Students and teachers will get 50% discount on tickets for select games in the FIBA Basketball World Cup from Aug. 25 to Sept. 2, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) said Thursday.
The discount will also take effect for the opening match of Gilas Pilipinas against Dominican Republic at the Philippine Arena on Aug. 25.
Other games will be held at the Araneta Coliseum and SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The marked down ticket rates will only apply to seats in the premium upper box, regular upper box, and general admission sections.
CHED said students and teachers must present their school ID and PRC ID, respectively, at any TicketNet or SM Ticket outlet.
