This comes just days after Obiena soared to second place of the men’s World Pole Vault rankings overtaking Nilsen. Prior to these, Obiena has already qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. He also cracked pole vaults’ elite six-meter club and dominated the Asian Athletics Championships in a record-breaking fashion.
