
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 20) — Former Social Welfare Secretary Erwin Tulfo said he is now entitled to sit as a representative and to serve for a term of three years following the issuance of his certificate of proclamation from the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
\”I can definitely start attending sessions, committee hearings. And then most importantly the filing ng [of] bills, which I have a lot to file in the next few days,\” Tulfo said.
The Comelec en banc issued on Thursday Tulfo’s certificate of proclamation as the third nominee of the Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support (ACT-CIS) Party-list.
\”Notwithstanding the roadblocks that stood his way, he has managed to successfully disprove the allegations hurled against him before this Commission,\” Comelec Commissioner Socorro Inting said.

Tulfo said among his priority bills are employment opportunities for persons with disabilities and senior citizens. He also confirmed his attendance at the second State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday.
