Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 22) — Award-winning Filipino actress Dolly de Leon is set to join the cast of American TV series “Nine Perfect Strangers” Season 2 top-billed by Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman.
According to a report by Deadline, also joining the upcoming season of the Hulu original series are Liv Ullmann, Murray Bartlett, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, and Aras Aydin.
The “Nine Perfect Strangers” is based on the 2018 novel of the same title by Liane Moriarty.
“Nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living with a 10-day star at a boutique wellness resort run by the resort’ s director Masha (Nicole Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine ‘perfect’ strangers have no idea what is about to hit them,” the report said about the second installment of the series.
There is no information yet on the second season’s release date.
De Leon was earlier reported to also join the cast of Amazon Original Movie “Grand Death Lotto.”
De Leon, a nominee at the Golden Globe Awards and British Academy Film Awards for the Oscar-nominated movie \”Triangle of Sadness,\” is also expected to star with Kathryn Bernardo in the upcoming movie “A Very Good Girl.”
