Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Bank of Commerce’s (BankCom) “SIKAPPINOY Asenso” (Asenso) — an all-in-one service to help OFWs and their families manage their hard-earned money in the most convenient, secure, and smart way possible — is set to be offered in Japan in partnership with Speed Money Transfer Japan K.K.
Asenso provides Pinoys in Japan with various options for sending money to the Philippines.
These ‘heroes without capes’ can remit funds directly into their own or their beneficiary’s SIKAPPINOY accounts. Cash remittances can also be claimed over-the-counter at any BankCom branches nationwide.
Clients can remit directly into their accounts with other banks, and remittances can be sent straight into e-wallets such as GCash, Maya, Coins.Ph, GrabPay, and more.
Customers can also save money and invest in business opportunities through the program. Through its partnership with U-Franchise, Asenso offers OFWs with over 200 franchising options in the Philippines.
When opening an account, Asenso offers three features: Saver, Express, or Access.
Those who need to receive remittances from overseas and grow their savings for a target business can use the \”Saver\” feature. Remittances can be monitored through a Remittance Tracker facility available on the BankCom website.
The \”Express\” feature, meanwhile, is suitable for individuals who wish to start their own businesses, as the program offers franchising investment options.
For those interested in obtaining back-to-back loans to acquire their desired franchise, they can open the \”Access\” feature.
BankCom aims to support OFWs in Japan and their families with practical business investments, providing them the confidence of a financially stable future.
